Privacy Policy

Account and profile information. When you create an account, we may collect your name, email address, authentication identifiers, onboarding details, and account preferences.

Job search materials and preferences. We collect information you choose to provide, such as your resume, role preferences, location preferences, exclusions, and other settings used to personalize outreach.

Billing and subscription information. If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment providers process billing information on our behalf. We receive subscription and transaction status data needed to manage your account, but we do not store full payment card details ourselves.

Usage and device information. We may collect log data, browser or device information, pages viewed, and interaction data to operate, secure, and improve the service.

Support and feedback information. If you contact us or use support features, we collect the content of those communications and any files you choose to share.

If you connect Gmail, Personal Reach requests Google OAuth scopes necessary to identify your account and send email on your behalf. At the time of writing, those scopes include `openid`, `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email`, and `https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.send`.

We use this access to identify the connected Google account, confirm the integration is working, send an automatic post-connection test email, and support user-enabled sending settings through your connected Gmail account.

We do not request Gmail inbox read access, message history access, mailbox modify access, or full mail access. We do not read your inbox contents through the Gmail API as part of this integration.

We store Gmail-related credentials and metadata needed to maintain the connection, such as OAuth tokens and the connected account email address. OAuth tokens are stored in encrypted form at rest.

We use information we collect to:

• provide, maintain, and secure Personal Reach;
• create and manage your account and subscription;
• analyze your preferences and materials to personalize job outreach;
• generate, schedule, and send user-authorized outreach emails;
• send an automatic Gmail test email after successful Gmail connection;
• provide customer support and respond to inquiries;
• monitor usage, prevent abuse, and improve product performance.

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with service providers that help us operate the service, such as hosting, analytics, authentication, database, and payment providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our terms, to protect the security or integrity of the service, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.

Personal Reach's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We use Google user data only to provide or improve user-facing features that are directly relevant to Personal Reach's email outreach functionality. We do not use Google user data for advertising.

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data and whether your account remains active.

If you disconnect Gmail, we mark the Gmail connection as revoked in our systems and stop using the associated token for future sends. We may retain limited records needed for security, fraud prevention, audit, or legal compliance.

You can update certain account information from within the product. You can also revoke Gmail access from your Google Account permissions settings.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or method of storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Personal Reach is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may provide additional notice when appropriate.
